Green Product

Green Product Management System

Based on the framework of ISO management system and supplemented by green product management system, ANPEC ensures that products can be controlled and monitored, and prevent contamination at every stage from customer demand to production and shipment. With the continuous growth of the company's business, it has also acquired the SONY GP certification. In addition, through regular management review meetings, the top management reviews the performance of the quality and green product management system operation and ensures its adequacy, suitability and effectiveness.

  • Strict Implementation on the Principle of Local Procurement

IC design is the core business of ANPEC Electronics, and it is at the forefront of the product chain where the main production and manufacturing are all performed by outsourced suppliers. Thus, special attention is paid to the selection and management of the suppliers. ANPEC’s main outsource suppliers are Taiwanese and Asian manufacturers where the annual production in Taiwan and neighboring Mainland China accounts for most of the production; it is to reduce the carbon footprint, various energy losses and the environmental impact.

  • Green Design and Green Material Selection

ANPEC looks to provide customers with products without harmful substances, to facilitate the development and introduction of green products, reduce the impact on the environment, and work with outsourced manufacturing suppliers and packaging material suppliers to implement these concepts.

ITEM CONTROL AND MONITOR CONTENT
Product Design From the design stage and raw material selection, it is necessary to meet the requirements of customers and international environmental protection regulations.
Manufacturing Process Control and monitor the environmental hazardous substances in the manufacturing process and materials, prevent product pollution, and meet the requirements of customers and international environmental protection regulations.
Package Design Comprehensive restrictions on Lead (Pb), Cadmium (Cd), Mercury (Hg), Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+), Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), and Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP) concentration to comply with EU Packaging Directive and customer GP requirements.

  • Strict on not Using Hazardous Substances that Harm the Environment

In addition to ISO9001 (Quality Management System) and ISO14001 (Environmental Management System) certification, ANPEC partners such as wafer manufacturing, packaging, and testing factories are required to ensure that all production materials and materials and substances are in line with Japan's Sony Management Regulations for the Environment-Related Substances to be Controlled Which are Included in Parts And Materials (SONY SS-00259), EU RoHS/HF/REACH and other international environmental protection directives and customer green product hazardous substance requirements which are divided into multiple stages for controlling and monitoring.

ITEM CONTROL AND MONITOR CONTENT
Hazardous Substance Assessment and Analysis With the update of regulations and customer requirements, different hazardous substance management standards are introduced into ANPEC Electronic Environmental Hazardous Substance Specification to ensure the corporate social responsibility of green product design is implemented.
Approved Parts Audit the outsourced supplier’s third-party notary product hazardous substance test report and parts composition table; and the supplier shall submit the non-use of hazardous substances declaration, environmental management and control specification, and supplier self-declaration.
IQC When the outsourced supplier delivers products to ANPEC, it will provide the product hazardous substance test report of the third-party notary certification body to ensure that the product meets the hazardous substance requirements for green product.
Regular Sampling The finished product provided by the supplier will be subject to quarterly XRF analysis inspection by the supplier. Through regular inspection, the product will be checked to ensure that it meets the hazardous substance requirements for green products.

Scope of Hazardous Substance Control

  • Stringent due Diligence on not Using Conflict Minerals

ANPEC follows the Electronic Industry Code of Conduct (EICC) and does not use conflict minerals; in particular, minerals such as tin, gold, tantalum, tungsten, and cobalt produced in conflict mining areas in the Democratic Republic of Congo and its neighboring countries. ANPEC aim to protect human rights and fulfill corporate social responsibilities. According to the "Guidance to the Conflict-Free Smelter Program", "RBA Responsible Business Alliance", "GeSI Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative" and other regulations, ANPEC also require suppliers to conduct due diligence and disclose all smelter information in detail. Suppliers will provide the Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) to ensure that all raw materials and mineral used in products come from smelters or countries recognized by the Responsible Mineral Initiative (RMI). ANPEC and our suppliers will uphold the value of global human rights.

  • Conduct Regular Education and Training for the Employees to Raise the GP Awareness

To ensure employees understand the requirements of environmental management substances, ANPEC has set up a course :

  1. New recruits and employees are required to complete a general course on environmental quality.
  2. Employees working on green products are required to enroll in annual professional training courses and tests on environmental quality.
  3. Changes in international environmental regulations and green product hazardous substance specifications for the customers.
